A-Cube API, a leading Italian API-based e-document management platform that helps Italian and international companies exchange digital documents with government agencies, joined hands with Salt Edge, a decade-old frontrunner in Open Banking solutions. This collaboration allows software houses, SaaS, e-commerce, and enterprises to solve complex administrative issues by adopting speed, automation, and maximum efficiency.

Back in 2014, the European Parliament passed a Directive that required all public sector bodies in the EU to accept e-invoicing, and Italy was the first country to embody it. This trend of implementing e-invoice policies is set to continue, with more EU countries getting on board.

In this dynamic landscape, A-Cube comes up with a comprehensive e-invoice solution that ensures both compliance with legal frameworks and a seamlessly integrated API platform providing the flexibility of data sharing in a smart, automated way. A-Cube intends to leverage Salt Edge’s adaptable platform with vast European bank coverage while ensuring high-quality assistance. It will allow the company to extend its offering to most European countries as soon as local regulations are adopted.

A-Cube, already using the open banking pioneer’s Partner Program for account information services in Italy, on top of which they’ve built an automated invoice reconciliation tool, will now enhance its product with Salt Edge’s Payment Initiation solution.

The service will make it possible to link the e-invoicing system with account-to-account payments, thereby increasing the speed, accuracy, and security of invoicing processes. It will also enhance the automated reconciliation, making A-Cube’s solution perfectly suited for SaaS providers, software houses, start-ups and businesses looking for innovative answers to managing large document volumes.
